Some reasons you may want to sue or are being sued:

Breach of Contract. You might find it necessary to sue someone because they have not fulfilled with their obligation to some or all of their terms of a contract and are requesting compensation for the breach such as in a Partnership Disputes, Unpaid Invoices, Unpaid Loans, Misrepresentation, Negligence, Unfair Severance Packages, and Wrongful Dismissal.

To Enforce a Contract. You might find it necessary to sue someone because you want them to fulfill with their obligation to some or all of their terms and are requesting to complete an action such as a renovation project.

To Recover Damages. If you are harmed by the actions of another party, whether it is for an act done or not done, you may have to sue to cover your losses. Your success depends upon a legal finding that the other party in fact harmed you by their act or inaction. For example, if found negligent in the court’s opinion that they knew, or should have known, that their action (or inaction) caused you harm physically, financially, or, in some cases, emotionally; then you will be granted damages.

Let Denise be the paralegal to represent you in Small Claims Court, which will lead to a better result than representing yourself.
